Alumnae House is a guest house located in the historic Hudson Valley across the street from Vassar College. The building serves as headquarters for the Office of Alumnae/i Affairs and Development, and Alumnae/i Association of Vassar College, in addition to providing overnight accommodations to members of the Vassar College community, including prospective students. Alumnae House is a gracious venue for weddings and other catered events. Catering space may be reserved by the general public. Please contact the Alumnae House Manager for more information.

Gifted to the college in 1924 by Vassar alumnae sisters, Blanche Ferry Hooker (1894) and Queene Ferry Coonley (1896), the building is a classic example of American-Tudor style architecture. Alumnae House is often called the “House of a Thousand Treasures” because most of the contents were donated or made possible by Vassar alumnae/i.
